11 AM   Pawpaw - America’s Forgotten Fruit

Explore the richness and diversity of America’s largest native fruit with fruit grower and edible landscaper Michael Judd. Talk will focus on growing needs, care and selection.

Fran Scully 12 PM  Capsicum – Turn Up the Heat in Your Containers

Fran Scully – horticulturalist at Ladew Topiary Gardens – will demonstrate how to design, create and maintain an appealing as well as productive container garden featuring peppers, in all their colors and flavors.
1 PM  Hildegard of Bingen – Herbal Healing

Ursula Populoh, performance artist and storyteller, will portray the 12th Century Benedictine nun known for her use of herbs in healing, during a short presentation in the Herb Garden.

Following this costumed interpretation,  Heide Grundmann will lead an optional guided walk through Nature Art in the Park 2016 installations.
